The Silva Trail Runner Free 2 is a comfortable and lightweight, tangle-free headlamp that is suitable for all runners. The functions and lighting are perfectly adapted to the needs of runners. The basic version of the Trail Runner Free 2 works with three AAA batteries (not included) and a hybrid battery.

Hybrid battery included
The hybrid battery can be used with AAA batteries or the Silva hybrid battery. This allows you to adapt the headlamp to your needs. The battery has a textured surface and a red safety indicator light for better visibility while running.
Optimized lighting
The second generation Trail Runner Free is equipped with an optimized cooling system. A more efficient cooling system delivers 550 lumens of brightness (depending on battery type) for optimal comfort and a lightweight design. Our high-performance running lights have been significantly improved, and the Trail Runner Free 2 series is suitable for runners of all levels. All three lights feature Silva Intelligent Light technology. This means double the brightness, which provides ideal lighting while running. The unique combination of high and low beam reduces head movements, improves control and increases speed.

While we focus on technical innovation, we haven't forgotten about weight optimization. Every part of the light is compact, and the light weighs just 61 grams (without battery). The headlamp is perfectly balanced, with smooth transitions and a flat, soft and tangle-free textile cable. The headlamp is soft but quite durable, with a silicone strip inside for perfect grip. The battery can be used on the headband or stored safely in a pocket with the included extension cord and protected from heat, which extends the battery life.

If you don't run every day but want a battery with a long life, choose the basic model Trail Runner Free 2. The headband is powered by three AAA batteries and, thanks to the hybrid connector, is also compatible with a 1.25 Ah hybrid battery.
